We are excited that one of our smart home projects is featured as the cover story in Connected Design’s Winter Issue. The Wired to the Wilderness article details the building of a 15-bedroom hunting lodge in Madison, GA by 15 friends looking to create a getaway. With 6 of the 15 families as current Performance AV clients, we were tapped to create a system designed around relaxing in the stress-free environment that they were envisioning.
With one of our key clients at the helm of the construction project the main guidance that we received was to make sure that the system was reliable and easy to use which is our reputation. With the focus on ease-of-use, reliability, and serviceability, we chose brands and systems that all have a reputation of achieving that same goal.
We chose LG OLED TVs for displays, Dish Network for satellite TV service, Sonos for audio, and a secure, high-performance wireless network. These were deployed at scale to achieve the goal of an easy-to-use system that boasts lots of features while being highly reliable and easy to maintain long term.
